Pictured above, this typical 55 ton continuous drive friction welder is specifically designed for job shop applications. The machine is equipped with two hydraulic cylinders (4" and 8") providing maximum versatility to weld a wide range of parts from 0.5 to 6 square inch weld surface.

A variable speed DC drive provides capability for controlled energy input during spindle deceleration. This machine is also equipped with a flash removal system. A state of the art microprocessor based controller provides precise program development and process quality assurance monitoring.

Individual weld quality is documented by recording all critical weld parameters for a permanent record of force, displacement and spindle RPM.
